I love horses and espresso, but sometimes iced coffee too. I like red wine and craft beer. I love the idea of having wind in your hair, but realistically hate the way wind feels. I can probably quote most episodes of Seinfeld and The Office.
My photography journey started almost 20 years ago with a 1970's Canon AE-1 and rolls of black and white film. I spent years learning to develop and print in a darkroom. There is something magical about seeing your pictures come to life on a blank piece of paper!
These days, most work is done digitally, but I have found my way back to my love of film and include film in most shoots and weddings!
Daffadilly Lane is born from change. After almost 10 years in the wedding industry, this new name reflects not only how my business has evolved, but how I have, too. Through changing seasons of life, becoming a mother and grief, I've found myself passionate about creating imagery that feels intentional and authentic.
I want you to have the perfectly posed photos! I also want you to have the crazy ones where you have the biggest grin on your face, or where your grandma is dancing on the dance floor, or maybe that one silly face you and the baby do to make dad laugh. Those are the moments that Daffadilly Lane is here to capture.
